Water Softener Installation in Central Illinois
Hard water damages appliances, dries out skin, and leaves mineral buildup on everything it touches. We test your water first, then build a system sized for your home and your specific conditions.
Hard water is more than an inconvenience
Central Illinois water is naturally high in calcium and magnesium. Over time that buildup shortens the life of water heaters, dishwashers, and washing machines while making soap and shampoo work harder than they should.
- Scale buildup coats pipes and heating elements, cutting efficiency by up to 30 percent
- Spotty dishes and fixtures from mineral deposits that soaps cannot rinse away
- Dry skin and dull hair because hard water strips natural moisture
- Shortened appliance life on water heaters, dishwashers, and washing machines
- Iron staining on sinks, tubs, and laundry from elevated iron levels common in Illinois well water
Built around your actual water
Every system is designed after we test your water. Common issues we address in Central Illinois include the following.
Hardness
High calcium and magnesium levels are the most common issue in the Peoria region. Pekin and Creve Coeur water regularly tests above 35 GPG, among the highest readings in Central Illinois. A properly sized softener eliminates scale and makes soap work better.
Iron and Manganese
Red or brown staining on fixtures and laundry points to iron in your water. Manganese causes black staining. Both are common in Central Illinois well water.
Taste and Odor
Chlorine taste from municipal water, sulfur smell from well water, or general off-flavors can all be addressed with the right carbon filtration stage.
Arsenic
Naturally occurring arsenic in some Illinois groundwater sources can be reduced with the appropriate media. We test for arsenic before recommending treatment.
Tannins
Organic matter from surface water or shallow wells can cause yellowish water and a tea-like taste. Tannin filtration removes this without affecting mineral balance.
Iron Bacteria
Iron bacteria creates a slimy reddish buildup in toilet tanks and around fixtures. Treatment requires a different approach than standard iron removal.
Hydrotech 89 Series

- Industry-leading warranties: lifetime on tanks, 7 years on equipment and control valves, 1 year parts and labor
Need more capacity than a residential system provides?
Farms, restaurants, office buildings, and other high-demand facilities require systems that residential softeners cannot match — in flow rate, continuous throughput, and the ability to regenerate without ever interrupting service.
We install the Canature 85TA twin alternating system for ultra-high hardness and large-volume applications, and the 95STS and 95MTS high-flow commercial control valve systems for heavy commercial and agricultural demand. Every installation starts with a water test and an on-site assessment of your flow rate and peak demand.
